Despite London punk band BE N!CE's colourful, cute imagery of themselves, their music is anything but. BRAINDEAD

BrainDead is een stevige punkband uit Turnhout die energieke liveshows brengt en hun set vult met snelle nummers. Bestaande uit 4 jonge gasten die de muziek levend houden met de nodige humor en eigen twist. Toni van der Have (lead gitaar), Sverre Goorden (drums), Ben Van den Heuvel (bas en vocals) en Lode Fransen (ritme gitaar en vocals).

De band bestaat sinds 2021 en veroveren ondertussen podia in binnen- en buitenland. Ze stonden in het verleden al met Crass & Uk subs in het Depot te Leuven. Daarnaast speelden ze ook als support bij groepen zoals The Exploited, GBH, Casualties, Discharge, Peter and the test tube babies, etc.

Wat BrainDead uniek maakt, is hun compromisloze energie en strakke live reputatie: Elk optreden voelt als een explosie van energie waar het publiek volledig in meegezogen wordt. De jongens deden reeds mee aan een aantal interviews en een live radio set die terug te vinden zijn op het internet.

Ondertussen zijn ze op verschillende streamingsdiensten te beluisteren en pakken ze hun uploads structureel en bedachtzaam aan. Nieuw materiaal wordt frequent gepost en gepromoot met de nodige humor.
